Claygate is a village run by mums.<\/p>
They took it over in the early 2000's and have brought a new level of efficiency to the village since they arrived.<\/p>
For example there are four pubs, one for every 15 minutes of a full drinking hour, allowing for a focused and fun, fizz filled 60 minutes between pilates and walking (marching) the cockapoo on Claygate Common which is actually a multitasking event to chat to the parents and organise the kids birthday party.<\/p>

It was once suggested that the dads might take Claygate back under their control for a probationary period. Plans were submitted for their proposed governance which consisted of opening a Greggs at both ends of the high street and a Hooters in the middle.<\/p>

The dads failed to win the minimum vote requirement, and so the mums still rule supreme.<\/p>
<\/p>
